Product Description

The KWS-850 on-line multi-parameter water quality sensor is an essential device for water treatment quality monitoring. It can simultaneously measure multiple crucial parameters, providing comprehensive data to ensure the effectiveness and safety of water treatment processes.

Firstly, it measures pH value, which is vital for understanding the acidity or alkalinity of water. Maintaining the appropriate pH range is crucial for the efficiency of chemical processes in water treatment and for preventing corrosion or scaling in pipes and equipment.

Secondly, the sensor monitors dissolved oxygen levels. Sufficient dissolved oxygen is necessary for the survival of beneficial microorganisms in biological treatment processes and for ensuring the quality of the treated water.

The KWS-850 also measures conductivity, which reflects the total amount of dissolved ions in the water. This parameter helps in assessing the effectiveness of processes like filtration and reverse osmosis in removing impurities.

Turbidity measurement by this sensor is another important feature. It indicates the presence of suspended particles in the water, and keeping turbidity low is essential for producing clear and safe water.
